We hired Scott Buckner's firm in 2013 to execute a full third floor addition to our detached Riverdale home. We are very happy with the quality of his work. He has high standards and a good attention to detail. He is very experienced in all aspects of construction and has excellent sub-trades on call when he needs them. Because of the breadth of his experience, he was able to come up with a solution for any problem that arose during the reno. We were very nervous about how quickly he could get the new shell built and the roof on to avoid water damage to our home. He was able to get this done within 10 days. He brought the project in on budget and any extra work negotiated was at a reasonable price. He was willing to work on a fixed price basis overall, which we wanted after a past very bad experience with a time plus materials contract with another contractor. Scott has also completed two bathrooms and a kitchen renovation for us in the past. Overall, we highly recommend A Buckner Contracting for any major home renovation project. He will give you a competitive price and will execute the project to very high standards.
