We hired Mark to install a new radiator as part of our bathroom remodel and despite his quote being high, we went ahead with him anyway as we were under a tight timeline to have the rough-in work completed... this was a big mistake. First, Mark tried to upsell us an extra $250 for a chrome towel rad, despite the fact we had requested chrome when we received the quote to which he quickly back peddled on once I challenged him and proceeded at the original quote. Second, promptly upon completing the work the rad he installed stopped working. He came back (at least he did that) and shut off water flow to 2 other regions of the house to isolate the rad he installed which got it working so he determined that our pump needed to be replaced despite being brand new in 2015. He told us this would cost us at least another $1,000. When we repeatedly asked him why the prior rad in the bathroom worked fine with the existing pump he had no good response and felt his job was complete by installing a rad that only worked when all the other rads in the house were turned off, which was absolutely ridiculous. I showed him the pressure gauge on our brand new Veissmann boiler that appeared to be low which he disregarded and proceeded to storm out of the house when we questioned his competency. He drove off having charged us $1,700 for a non-functioning radiator in the middle of December. We had the company back that installed the boiler last year and they quickly got the pressure up from under 10 psi, where Mark had left it, to the appropriate range of 20 which got the whole system working again (but cost us even more $). I should have trusted my gut and allowed the project to be delayed until we found someone else as he is someone has no conscience about charging full freight for incomplete work or even the aptitude to properly diagnose or solve problems.

my apology to you, when i came to your house, (the quote was for white radiator, which i still have it in the text), i explained to you the existing pump, is too small to feed the towel warmer, as they are different than existing cast iron radiator in terms of water pressure it needs(cast iron has larger piping inside, thus needs less water pressure to work) , which was going to be replaced with towel warmer. you accepted my explanation. After successful install, you called me one day, stating the towel warmer is not working any more. i came to your house and closed another radiator, then the towel warmer warmed up, this demonstrated the existing water pump is too small. And i gave the price of $500 to install a bigger pump(which no body does it as it is the price of the pump itself), which you did not accept, and started to scream at me and using f words in front of your wife. Then i had no choice but to leave your house. then threatened me to write bad review while leaving your house
