Trust me on this. I'm building a house with Jager at the moment and they are the WORST company in the world to build with! I would avoid them at all costs. You get good service at first when you initially sign up, then the quality of the service along with the quality of the build will significantly decline. Avoid signing up with them - no matter how attractive they make the deal as they make it up in hidden charges and fees after, they are con artists and will not give you your moneys worth.

- What could this company do to improve their services?
- Fire all of their staff and employ new, more efficient and less emotional people to start with. Improve their communication and honesty to their customers, make their wording far less ambiguous and you might start to touch on something resembling decent service.
- Any advice to offer fellow homeowners facing a similar project?
- I have contacted the CHBA who have been very helpful. Alberta New Homes Warranty are a waste of valuable space I'm afraid, if you read their website you'll see they are on the side of the builder. I certainly am going to take up a case against Jager whether I win or not.... it's now a matter of principle.
