Defected Aspenhome Entertainment Collection
We have purchased the Aspenhome Entertainment Collection - Young Classics in Big Comfort on Nov. 22, 2014.
Price with delivery: $2,178.75,
The set was delivered and set up by delivering company on Thursday, Nov. 27. 2014.
After the setup was done, we noticed a few defects:
- Cracked shelf above the TV space
- The two light fixtures on the sides of the light bridge were broken (leaving us unable to screw in a light bulb)
- Light switch is not working
- Close to the middle light fixture there are 5 drilled and patched holes
The entertainment furniture piece we bought was from display, but it wasn’t sold to us - AS IS.
We spoke to the Big Comfort store staff as well as speaking with the manager of the store, who assured us that everything would be resolved by the beginning of January.
However, we have received zero help on their part.
It is already March of 2015 and we have yet to receive any response after the many emails and personal complains concerning the defective Entertainment Collection.
We tried shortly after purchase contact the store and our sale representative Ann, however she didn’t even try to exert any effort to help, and just hung up on us. Prior to paying for the furniture set the staff was very kind and helpful, but after receiving our money they are not even remotely willing to put in any time into resolving their mistake. As they already have our money, the company has lost all interest in us and the problems that have come up due to their highly inconvenient error and negligence.
I am rather surprised that the company has dropped their façade of helpfulness so incredibly quickly, with absolutely no apparent interest in keeping up the reputation of their company and us as their future clients.
