The purpose of this review is to provide feedback on the Jenn Air microwave and oven purchased from Billa Appliances.
We purchased an Jenn-Air oven and microwave (super oven) from this store in November 2015, and were assured that they would be installed by December. Part of the motivation to purchase the product was based on the need to have them over the holidays. Billa Appliances failed to honour their commitment and the oven was not delivered until the middle of January.
Since then, the oven and microwave unit has broken down 3 times in the last month. The first time it broke, a repairman came and serviced it, and 1 week later it broke again. We have been calling the Jenn Air customer service line daily, and each day we have been told that a technician is coming, and no one shows up. Not only does no one show up, but no one calls with any update and no one answers our calls when we follow up. This atrocious experience has ruined our opinion of Jenn Air, and we regret our decision to purchase this product.
We also regret purchasing the microwave and oven Billa Appliances. At first, we spoke highly of the company, and even recommended it to a dear friend who was re-doing her kitchen. She purchased the exact same unit as us (oven and microwave), and hers broken down within weeks, and needed to be entirely replaced. How is it possible for BRAND NEW high quality product to break down not once, but in two separate instances?
While this atrocious experience is a direct result of the inadequate level of customer service provided by Jenn-Air, the pattern of poor quality appliances sold by Billa Appliances needs to be addressed as well.
I highly recommend taking action to prevent this situation from occurring again. My family and I will be sharing our terrible experience with Bill Appliances and Jenn Air through social media and word of mouth, and as you know, in this competitive industry, differentiating yourself from competitors is vital for survival. Your continued failure to neglect your customers and sale of subpar products that incorrectly boast "high quality" is not acceptable, and I hope that you take action to fix this immediately, and not just with my family, but with all of your unsatisfied customers.
