Blueline gave us a reasonable estimate for our move. They showed up on time. Protected our furniture and our floors. Moved everything without any damage. The movers were friendly and hardworking.

I would use them again for our next move.

On two previous moves, we had used BlueLine Moving (once including storage) and had no problems so we called them for this move (which also included storage). They were a little late arriving to pick up the furniture on the first move but other than that, everything went well. When we had them deliver the goods 3 months later, they were scheduled to arrive at 9:00 a.m. and never showed up until 7:30 p.m. I called several times during the day only to be told "They're coming." When they arrived, I was made to feel like 'what's your problem lady, we've been working hard all day and we're tired - get off our case!". But, that wasn't the worst of it. Because they were in such a rush to unload, there were two incidents of major damage plus several minor incidents of damage. My rosewood dining room suite had 2 deep gouges out of the wood and 1 minor scratch. These were total destruction to the unit and cost me $200 to repair and you can still see them.

Not only was there major delay and damage, but the worst part was their attitude. Oh well, things happen. No apology, no explanation, no nothing - just put up with it because it's done now.

Never ever ever would I use BlueLine Moving and Storage again or recommend them to anyone, even my worst enemies.

Blueline gave me a reasonable quote, for packing,loading and unpacking. I was reluctant to hire them,based on reviews but they surpased all of my expectations. Estimate was guaranted within 10%.When they arrived in Ottawa they were 1 day early and asked to deliver,first i was peved but then i accepted.overall very good experince.

Although the movers themselves were not as bad as the other post mentioned, the office operation of this company is a complete disaster. There is a crazy lady that will actually yell at you if you try to ask to talk with the manager to complain, for example, as it happened to us, about pieces that went missing on their storage. The manager is clueless: "how can I know where your stuff is?" was a question that I had to hear. Timing-wise, not so good as well. They arrived late on the first day, didn't show up at all on the second day, and were late on their last chance to cause a good impression. The estimate on both the moving and storage were completely off. We used their storage service and besides being twice as expensive as initially quoted, it shows how dishonest these people are: their salesman, a very nice person, gave us some paper with tips for the moving. One of the tips was to visit and inspect the storage. Guess what: you can't go to their facilities! "Because of insurance reasons, only blue line employees can come to the storage".

The quote - great, nice guy, gave a solid written quote. Day of the move, you get the scary boys showing up early (to start the clock early), took 5 hours to make a two hour drive, were rude, didn't put rugs down, tracked mud throughout and broke things! Then had the nerve to try to overcharge. Had they not been outnumbered by that point, they would have been very scary. Not a company recommended for use by single women (these guys are scary). Also, very slow - I did more work than they did!
