M U Hardwood Flooring

we have a small kitchen and wanted to upgrade the hardwood flooring inside, this business came highly recommended by a famly friend. The price was a little higher than another quote, but their service was 100% better than the other companies.

We had our stairs completely redone with new hardwood on the landing, spindles, posts, handrails, risers, treads etc. From the very beginning Anita, Dan and Ryan were extremely knowledgeable and professional. They have gave us realistic timeline and were always open and honest with us from the very start. Our experience throughout the project has been a very positive one. We are extremely happy with the end result and will be recommending M-U hardwood flooring to our families and friends.

Anita was kind enough to contact me in several occasions. She and her husband Dan came and viewed the areas needed for repair and marked them down carefully.

They are going to proceed with the needed repairs. I just want to thank them for the follow-ups.

We actually had our hardwood installed last Fall. We had since recommended MU to 2 other friends. Friends and family who came and visited our place complimented on the quality of the wood, which came with a 35 year warranty. We personally love the patterns. We have been using it for half a year and so far, they still look as new, without any change in color and still look shiny.

The contractors helped us remove the carpet at no extra cost. They were a day or two behind (which I believe is common for all contractors) but they worked the long weekend to pick up the speed. When we told them that there were some gaps between the hardwood and the staircase, the contractors filled the gaps with glue, so they are hardly noticeable. There's only one spot in the entire house where there's squeaky noise. All hardwood was installed professionally... no uneven gaps in between them.

The high quality hardwood is offered at a very good price. Victor was very fair... only collected $500 deposit at the onset and collected the cost of the materials upon delivery, and the balance only when the job was completed. Victor was knowledgeable and patient with our questions, giving us great confidence in the company. He was efficient and accurate in measuring the amount of wood we would require.

We went to their showroom/warehouse after seeing their sales add in the local paper. They had a good choice of flooring and their prices were very competive. The saleslady was very helpful and accomodating in allowing us to take samples home several times. She also was knowledable in advising which type of flooring would suit our needs, as we have very active young dog. After making our choice, and scheduling our installation, we were notified 5 days before the installation date that the flooring we had chosen was a limited stock item, and although their computer had shown they had sufficient stock in their warehouse, another salesperson had sold that load to another person at their other sales office and we would have to wait at least 4 weeks for a new shipment. We couldn't wait that long, so we ended up choosing a hickory floor they had in stock. WE originally wanted hickory because of its hardness, but was worried about the variations in coloring in the wood. Because of their mistake, they agreed to bring sufficient batches (actually one extra box)to the house and let me hand pick the boards that were to be installed. In the end, we got the floor we originally wanted and couldn't be happier with our choice. They didn't charge for the extra box and the installation went very smoothly (only one day).

not good work as i expected, not much colour can be chosen ta the showroom. the material is from china, so colour may be vary on different shippment and have wait for delivery.

We decided to replaced the terrible old parket and tile with new hardwood floor for entire house last year,and after long time searching on the internet and price comparing ,we found M-U hardwood flooring.It took me three hours to choose a right color from all the samples out there in their show room then they calculated the total amount for me which could match our tight budget.After that, we changed the color twice over the phone.They were nice during the whole preperation.The job is terriblly hard,but they finished it in time and precisly.We really appreciated the professional work they've done,especially the tile removing part.I recommended them to my neighbor who planed to finish her basement.They just finished her job a week ago,and everything is beautiful.

Victor and Richard took my older home and removed 1600 sq ft of carpet and added hardwood floor. It was an incredibly difficult job during the Christmas holidays, but their professionalism made all the difference in the world. The workmanship was exceptional. They had problems with the first crew doing the job, but I was impressed by how professional they were in changing the crew with ones that were able to do this particular job better. I would recommend them for thei professionalism, competetive pricing and quality materials.
