Leachman Plumbing & Heating (1971) Ltd

Spring of 2016 we had Leachman's install a home water filtration unit to remove hard water.
When Leachman's installed the unit they put the drain/ flush pipe down a drain that was not made for the same capacity which caused water overflow and basement flooding in two rooms. The second room had laminate (click) flooring which got wet. After all the drying/ dehumidifying, a roughly 4 sq ft area remained damaged and warped.
At first it seemed like they were going to fix the damage. Making promises and kept contact but it was just delays - very busy, no time to go to store for flooring, can't find the proper match of floor and more excuses and delays over months.
We even provided Leachman's a portion of the floor to help match it which they still have...

In the end I over paid by $100, got tired of chasing them around then gave up.
The missing piece in my floor is a ever reminder to never do business with Leachman's again.

We had a clog in the bathroom which we could not fix by normal means, plummer did everything he could eventually solving the problem.

Plummer didn't want to use camera since it would be costly which we were glad to know in advance.

The plumber spilt a sludgy water from the old lift pump all over the floor (including carpet) and did not clean it up or even mention it had happened. The water tubing was initially run directly in front of an exposed electrical junction (this was repaired when we called to complain).

Our new dishwasher couldn't be installed because the previous installation had improper plumbing setup. Leachmans executed the changes in a prompt, direct, and friendly manner. We also had a winter shutoff tap installed for the external water tap and got good advice on some related concerns.
