Blinds To Go Whitby

We went to Blinds to Go in November to get shutters for a basement window. The service was fine and the staff pleasant and we received our quote and were good to go. We paid a deposit of $161 (50%) and were told they'd be out to measure. They came to measure and he told us the shutters we chose wouldn't work because it was a recessed window. Why we weren't asked this when we booked, I don't know. There was a mix up and our deposit wasn't refunded, so we called and they told us they're not reimbursing us $50 for the measurements! This is not mentioned in the quote anywhere. I'm incredibly annoyed and disappointed as we've used them to go and had fine service, which is why I didn't give a lower rating. Be warned that if, for some reason, they can't install for you, they'll rip you off $50 for coming out. Won't be using this business again.
