I hired this company to disconnect my appliances before a move. One of the homes was brand new and had gorgeous hardwood. I made it clear that I needed professionals for that reason .... I had to make sure that they were drained properly and did not leak water on the hardwood. I was told by two different people (the only two that I spoke to before hiring them) that they were experts for unhooking and draining appliances and they will make sure hardwood does not get water on it. My father built homes all his career and knew how to unhook appliances properly and we could have done it but I wanted to make sure there were no water leak surprises (hence hiring a plumber not an electrician, mover etc to unhook the appliances). Well guess what .... the two clothing washers (I was switching the appliances between my new home and the older home) and the fridge both had tonnes of water left in them. I am not exactly sure where the water was in the fridge but it leaked all over the hardwood. The movers had an extremely hard time moving the washing machines and I paid them extra because I felt so bad. As well, Action Augers said 100% satisfaction guaranteed or your money back and hmmm well I did not get a cent back. They were also two hours late (because they had training that morning) and unplugged my fridge full of food when I told them to just unplug the water line, I got home at 1am from a busy busy day at work and packing the other place to find my fridge unplugged. They also did not tell me the price until they arrived on site and the gentleman would not show me the page he was referring to for the price. ALWAYS get a price before they show up or do not hire them....lesson learned.
