My issue isn't with Dean. The knob on the dryer was broken so he ordered a new one. My issue is that with the 25 suppliers the company deals with why were they all backordered for this knob. The knob was mailed out to Bayview Home Appliance and I was informed that it would be five working days for them to receive it. That makes it next Tuesday as Monday is the holiday. I was willing to go wherever to pick up the part but was told it had to be mailed out. So once they receive the knob I will have to schedule a day for it to be installed. Why does Home Depot have to use them for the warranty on General Electric dryers. The woman answering the telephone was no help either. I purchased this dryer June 6, 2018. It isn't even three months old. Hopefully I will not have to call for service before the year is over.
