Etobicoke Service Centre Ltd. Beam Central Vacuum Systems

This review might be a little long but I guarantee you wont be disappointed if you choose [and I hope you do] to deal with this business.

I have had two Beam Vacuums, from Bill in Etobicoke, previously in my other homes and loved them.
I then decided to build a new home north of the city. Unfortunately due to some imposed time constraints I ended up having to purchase a CVAC quickly and bought from a BIG BOX store. BIG MISTAKE!!

18 months later, insanely frustrated by the lack of performance and reliability of this CVAC I hopped in my car and drove the two hours from my home to Etobicoke Service Center. I figured if anyone could help me then it was Bill. The 2hr drive really didn't do much for cool down [LOL] and I walked in ranting about how bad my other choice had been.......

Suffice to say poor Bill heard all about it and really listened. And this is where things got great.
Not only did he patiently hear me out about the existing vacuum but he took the time first, to explain to me why I had the problem with the particular machine, then he offered to service it if that was what I wanted. [it wasn't] And then took me through the BEAM options that were available to me. He asked me the pertinent questions to determine the best machine for my particular needs [tons of cat hair], best type of wand [I have bad arthritis] for ease of use, and walked me through the choices. In my head I had made my decision - yep that wonderful Beam vacuum second from the end.
Now came the difficult part - installation. I am two hours north of the Etobicoke location and certainly not able to install the vacuum myself.....can you help? I was expecting a "no" answer and at best perhaps a referral. But once again Bill's customer service was outstanding. He called his service installer and asked if he'd be willing? Again I was very pleasantly surprised to hear "yes no problem and that a date for installation would be forthcoming the next day". Well the BEAM was purchased and I took it home with me. As promised I received a call the next day regarding my installation. Simple question "are you available Friday?" And the time was scheduled. Steve, my wonderful installer arrived promptly at the agreed upon time [in fact was a little early which was great] and started working on my install. Now I had added a little on as I wanted three additional outlets. This was not an issue and I have never seen anyone work so precisely and quickly. Steve was not just efficient but very much a perfectionist and the new pipes for the vacuum were perfectly straight. This gentleman also unpacked and assembled everything for me. All I can say is "WOW Im impressed!"

Bill takes the time to listen to [really hear] his customers. His focus was on making sure I had the right items to meet my needs. His attention to my problem never wavered during the time I was there on that Monday morning. I honestly felt like I mattered. He addressed my purchase and installation needs. He made promises wrt future commitments and then KEPT them!! Bill also hires installation staff that also maintain his level of commitment to their customers. Bill and his staff take pride in their work and their dealings with people. Etobicoke Service Center may have a small storefront but let me tell you they are BIG BIG on customer service

Not only that, once we were done Bill thoughtfully offered me a water from his fridge.
Given the heat of the day, a very kind gesture.

So my review??? There are not enough stars on this form.
From insanely frustrated to supremely happy inside of 5 days.
This is a standard of customer service that was exemplary.

Thank you to both Bill [owner] and Steve [installation]. The BEAM vacuum does an amazing job and once again [third house in a row] I am a satisfied Etobicoke Service Center Beam owner.
