We had arranged for another company to do this process for us in August 2018 as part of a major renovation we were undertaking. They did part of the job - in April 2019 we saw the business owner and he indicated - "yes, I know I have to get there to finish up". In the winter we had spray foam insulation installed in the entire attic and 2nd floor and assumed that we wouldn't have bats return - and unfortunately in June they did. We contact the company and they said they would be there the next week - then they said it was too hot...they had really let me down after a significant investment in riding our house of the beasts and the odour.
In desperation I searched the internet and came across Bats Canada. At 9 p.m. I sent an email to Bats Canada. I was in tears!!! When I woke the next morning at 6 a.m. I was surprised with a response and then after a few emails back and forth and a phone call (all by 11 a.m.) they provided a quote and indicated that between us we would watch for a cooler day and they would come and do the exclusion. The temperature was going to drop in a couple of days and before I had a chance to email them they called me. They were here when they promised! They did the job and called back the next day to see how everything was!!! They came back to remove the escape hatches as promised and indicated that if we had any problem to let them know right away. It was another month before I heard from the original contractor with a date they would come and do the exclusion!
