In June of 2010 we finished our basement. I hired several different contractors as needed (Framing, Flooring, Windows, Internal weeping system and sump pump, Dry walling, Plastering, Electrical, Plumbing and Stairs).

Every contractor, except for the stair guy, were fantastic and did quality work. The day following the installation of the risers and steps, I had to fire the stair guy because of the terrible quality of work. (The steps were rocky and each was a different width!!!)

I was in a panic because we had overseas visitors coming in 4 weeks for a wedding and we needed stairs or the basement would not be accessible!

I searched around and found Millennium Woodworking on Home stars and gave them a call to get a quote. Imran and Dahlia came out and were shocked by the poor quality of workman ship of the prior contractor. They were already booked up but they were sympathetic to our problem and agreed to have the stairs installed before our guests arrived.

Good to their word, they had the stairs installed 2 days before our guest arrive.

The stairs are beautiful! Over the last year, every guest we have had over for a party have commented on how good looking and sound the stairs are!

Every time I go up and down them, I still marvel at the build quality and their appearance.

Millennium Woodworking was a joy to work with and they did not require any deposit prior to completion of the job.

We had Millennium strip and refinish our upper staircase, install new metal pickets, hardwood flooring and a new basement staircase as well as opening out a wall to create a view down to the basement. All of our concerns were addressed and accommodated by the staff. They truly believe in a satisfied customer. Rahaman, Zahir and Basil did a great job for us and they were always punctual and cleaned up at the end of each day. We will definitely be calling on Millennium again for our future projects.

In Nov 2010 my wife and I bought our first home. We had purchased from a reputed builder, but were shocked by the prices they charged for many of the add-ons and extra features to upgrade the home. There was no way we could afford the upgrades at their prices and so we shopped around for trades people to help us out. When I saw the ratings for Millennium Woodworking, I requested a quote just days before the house closed. They were good enough to speak to the job foreman, do the quote, and get the job done so that we could move into the house with ease. I have never met a more accountable team than the Millennium crew. They were always on time and did exactly what they said. What was more, is that they didn't request any payment until the job was fully completed. Thanks guys we really appreciate you coming through for us and the stairs look amazing!

Millennium did a great job in tearing out the old staircase and installing a new, oak, construction. We had challenges typical to an older home (narrow opening at the top, a rise that was way too long) but Millennium worked with us and created a great stair. My only wish is that there could have been a way to stain the stairs at the factory instead of having it done once installed.

The staff at Millennium Woodworking has been exceptional through the whole project, from the planning to the execution and the finishing touches. My stairs look better than even and I'm a very pleased with the results. Recommended!

We had removed the carpet from the stairs leading into the basement and new treads, risers, and stringers had to be installed. I sent an email to Millenium on a weekend, and Dahlia responded on Monday. Met up with Imran and Dahlia on Tuesday to discuss the project and in less than 2 weeks, the custom-made stair treads, stringers, and risers were installed! The installation was done by Raman and Basil, who did such a beautiful job that my main floor stairs (which is perfectly lovely) now look boring in comparison. Thank you Millenium!

I had a quote done by Millennium Woodworking to replacement my 13 step curved staircase. They were not the lowest quote, but they impressed me with their professionalism. I was told the work would be done in 3 days - they delivered. I had 1 small problem with a loose rail, I told Dahlia and Mr. Z came and fixed it quickly without question. I would HIGHLY recommend them for any job! Great people, great work!!! I didn't have to pay until I was satisfied - what a concept...they truly believe in your satisfaction.

The centrepiece of our home in Heritage Estates is now a stunning floating jatoba staircase with wrought iron risers and pickets. From start to finish, Imran and his family were professional, trustworthy, and made us feel like we were their most important customer. They respected our home and cleaned up well every day. The workmanship is impeccable. The sons are true woodworking artists. I would not hesitate to highly recommend Millennium Woodworking to the most discriminating customer.

Having our stairs done was the first major renovation in our very firs house. So we didn't really know what we were getting into. We wanted the carpet on the stairs to be replaced by wood. But Imran, the owner of the company made us fill safe. He invited me to see his shop. I was just amazed by what I saw.
