Heritage Tree Care

So..July long weekend and kitty decides to climb the big tree and not come down for 24 hours. Apparently cats don't have calendars to know it's a big holiday. I emailed and left messages with the two companies that advertise cat rescue, Heritage being one. I also emailed a few others, then started calling arborists (17 calls) As it was the long weekend and probably the nicest weather we've had in a long time, no one would do it or was not available. I was getting a little worried as I could hear kitty meowing louder and louder. Heritage called me back and couldn't have been nicer. He gave me the price up front and said that Alex, the one who would be doing the rescue would call me within 1/2 an hour so we could arrange everything directly. It was about 20 minutes and I got the call. Alex explained he was on the island and would catch a ferry, drive to get his gear and come over and get the cat. He also called again, just to check in with me, just before he left from picking up his gear. The cat rescue was "magical". But I want to stress that I was more impressed with the people that I spoke with and how they wanted to get the job done. They were professional and just nice to deal with. And honestly who wants to leave the island, on the most beautiful day, drive through the city and climb a tree to get a cat out of a tree on a long weekend? And be pleasant about it. I would recommend Heritage Tree highly on their professionalism and straight talk.
