I have been using Bulldog Appliances for several years, both for sales and service. They have always gone out of their way to be helpful both in the office and the technicians. Have recommended them to friends, glad to support a small local business.

I bought my appliances there in the fall of 2013 and installation was done very well despite the TINY area they had to work in for the washer/dryer unit.
The last time I did laundry, a small trickle of water came out from under the washer, so I asked my Dad to call them for me to book an appointment. He called yesterday afternoon, got an appointment for this morning and the repairman was there on time. It was a calcium buildup from our very hard water and he cleared it up nice and quickly and was on his way (leaving a very happy customer).
I recommend Bulldog to all my neighbours.

Another follow-up to let everyone know that my 4.5 year old dishwasher that has required two service calls is now garbage. I have replaced it with one purchased from another store. I wish this company had backed the products they sold and provided better customer service because I might have gone back to replace or better yet, not had to replace it at all if they had dealt with the issues in the first place.

4 Words- DON’T SHOP ANYWHERE ELSE! In all the times that I have purchased a large item from a company, have I ever received better service than when I shopped at Bulldog Appliances. They go above and beyond to fulfill your needs and are a pleasure to deal with. We ordered a fridge right before Christmas and they delivered it on time and even brought it into the kitchen for us. I will never shop anywhere else, and if you see any negative comments regarding their service or products, they clearly are bitter and have a negative outlook on life.

I had purchased appliances from Bulldog 5 years ago at a previous home and was impressed with the service and 'after care' that I received when the washing machine stopped working 2 weeks after purchase. When the current washer that came with the new house died we went back to Bulldog. Great service at the store and later at delivery and installation. Sales were upfront with the fact that the dryer we purchased was on backorder for 2 weeks and offered to deliver all 4 appliances for free if we waited for all of them to come in or we could have 3 delivered now and pay for the fourth to be delivered later (a very reasonable offer in my view).

I have heard stories of the big box stores delivering appliances "to your door" meaning your porch and no further - not Bulldog! Appliances are delivered to where they belong in your house and the old ones are taken away for recycling.

I know my sister and her husband were dissapointed to find out that Bulldog is unable to service the LG appliances that they purchased there 5 years ago - but that is an issue with LG and not something that Bulldog has control over except to stop selling LG products (which they have since done).

I will continue to go to Bulldog for all my home appliances.

I have used Bulldog for all my repairs for over 12 years i'm always happy with the way i'm treated. the last time i used them for a repair my washer was not working and it's a combo unit that i had stored and something had chewed through the wires inside the machine . they came and diagnosed what they thought it was i took it into them and when they took it apart they found it was something differant they called me and told me what the cost would be and i decided to have it fixed,even though it was probably not worth it for some to have it fixed the service man said it was a better unit than the newer ones, I just love the way they tell you what it is and give you the options to fix or buy new.There receptionist is very helpfull ,respectful and professional every time i have used them . it was fixed delivered and hooked back up for me and away i went, I love the fact that it's a family ran company and even the father & son are out together doing the services. I would recomend them for all your repairs.

My family and I have used the folks at Bulldog for years. It is a family owned store and run by people I trust. Whether I have just stopped in to ask a tech for his opinion on my appliances or during my last purchases I always leave feeling that I have been looked after. Keep up the great work Bulldog! It really pays off to shopping local.

I really wish I had checked Homestars before running to Bulldog appliances in a panic after discovering my fridge had conked out and losing everything in the freezer. I thought I would do the "politically correct' thing and shop locally. Mistake! I was there to make a purchase, not a complaint, and I was made to feel like my presence was an intrusion. On more than one occasion, two different people at the front desk cut me off when I was asking a question to say, "then it would be a used refrigerator and we won't be able to do anything about it" and of course this was after I had bought it and too late to back out. The two stars are for the delivery guys. After my experience in the shop, I was dreading what my encounter with them would be like. Thankfully, all three of them were very pleasant, personable & helpful; they were a pleasure to deal with. I can only hope I don't have any service issues with this product that would require me to contact Bulldog front office again.

This is a follow-up to my original review.

Again I had an issue; this time with my fridge door. When I called this time to talk to Bulldog about the issue I was told that "we don't service the Mississauga area" and that I would be better off finding someone local to service. I commented that this issue was related to an error made at the time of delivery. Apparently although they deliver to Mississauga they now do not service the product they sell.

So of the three issues I have had none have been dealt with by the company that told me they would service.
