Very bad costumer service.... stay away
I was on their webpage to buy a King Canada KC-65FX jointer for $1,499 plus taxes (I have two photos confirming that if anybody wants to see the evidences… if you read the rest of the review you will realize that they will deny everything……a photo is worth 1000 words) and on the last step the webpage did not allow me to click on the "pick up" option rather than "delivery" option..... I called in to bring it to their attention and one of the employees took my phone number suggesting to hang up for them to solve the problem and he would call back before the end of the to confirm that the issue was fixed. Nobody called back as they fixed the issue they increased the price from $1499 to $1699 that day night. I called back the next day and the same employee in realizing that I was the same person from the previous day offered to pass the matter to the manager. The manager said that he had no concerns with the fact he increased the price, the fact he did not call back and with the fact that in speaking with a person from Toronto he does not see that there is a lot of value…… $1499 plus taxes is very little value in his eyes. I was surprised to hear that and replied that it is a very misleading the approach they used, shows a very serious lack of care, and in conducting online business he definitely has no concept of who your costumer is ……. It can be a person sitting on an island in the middle of nowhere. It is a very shameful attitude. My advice is stay away from them and look elsewhere where costumer service is a priority. I buy quite a few tools every year and I can direct you to locations that offer costumer service as you need that when something does not work well. This was my first dealing with Art's Tools Sales & Service Ltd and I am let speechless and appalled. Thanks
