They gave us a quote. We toured their manufacturing facility. We were pleased. Gave a deposit. They came in April to install. The first crew were extremely good and did their job well. The second one didn't seem to care - no pride at all. We now have some issues, but nobody answers the phone or return the many calls I have made. Don't even know if they are still in business.

I am a residential property manager in the city of Edmonton, and have used Gateway Windows a number of times over the past 10 years to replace some or all of the windows in my rental homes. I have always received a quality product at a very good price. The owner of the business, Fred, is a kind and knowledgeable man, with a high standard for service and customer satisfaction. I would highly recommend Gateway Windows for any renovation you may be planning.

In the summer they came in and did an estimate. They too a $200 deposit and said that they would call us back early September to book an appointment. Also note that they cashed in the money right away. We haven't heard a word back from these guys at all.
Best advise: Take your business elsewhere

To be continued from previous comment, check them out at the Better Business bureau (BBB) It will show why they are not good, they never resolve any of their complaints. It was my 90yr old father they took advantage of, I am the son that is trying to deal with gateway windows. VERY STRESS FULL.

when we first met and gave me the quotation, he showed me a lot of reno pictures and how reliable they were. when i hired them and gave them the deposit. he promised to start the job on such day , but they never showed up. when i kept calling them, they used all kinds of excuses to delay the job. finally the started the job, but worked 1 day and leave the job for few days, then worked a couple of days and disappeared for a few days again. when i called them what was going on, they kept saying the installers were sick. i would not recommend this company to anyone at all

they kept delaying the job using all kinds of excuses, and the workmanship was so poor. they even damaged some of my electrical outlets without fixing it even though they promised to come back to fix it

We ordered three large triple pane windows from this company. The order went smoothly and came in on time. We feel we paid a fair price and we are vey happy with the windows, However, the service was not that great when they came to install the could of cleaned up better before leaving and the window casings cleaned properly and put the casing back the way it was prior to removing the old stuff. They got so busy they never called us back when we wanted a quote for a new front entry door.
