Nucasa The Finishing Touch

My place initially had carpeting that was pretty worn out, so I wanted to go with hardwood flooring instead to cut out the amount of dust. I found Nucasa online and was happy to find that they provided a lot of information on how to choose the right kind of flooring for my house. I went with engineered hardwood flooring, a light-colored maple from Germany. While it was more expensive (~$6/sq ft) than something comparable that can be found at Home Depot, I was quite happy with the natural color shade and the fact that it's safe for radiant heating. Did the installation myself with a couple of friends over a several days. The installation was fairly straightforward. Will recommend to other friends, but the pricing might be an obstacle for some.

Good selection of baseboard and mouldings from Nucasa. Reasonably price as well. I was very specific about the moulding and wanted a minimalism style look with a touch of sophistication. Did not want a flat plank for baseboard. Found what i was looking for there. Will recommend to others.

Great selection of molding in-stock. We were able to get samples of the moldings to see how it would work with our room. Staff is very helpful. They also have stair risers and treads which we also bought there.

You get a choice of about 7 or 8 styles of mantels. It's custom built to your measurements. This was an easy process too. You just fill in the dimensions on their template. IT only took a couple weeks for them to build. You also get a choice of quality of wood you want which obviously affects the overall cost. The quality of wood you want depends on if you were planning on staining it or painting over it.
Overall, I am quite satisfied with what they had. We were rushed doing our renos, so the fact they had some predesigned ones that you can customize into your space totally saved us time and headaches looking for a custom millworker that would most likely charge us way more to make us completely custom mantle from scratch.

I have always been satisfied with the products or service from this company. For instance, I was working with some maple boards for a specialty project, and two of them were warped. I took them back and Nucasa ordered in a whole new shipment for me to choose from for the project. This is not the first time I have been able to take something back and have them replace the product. Similarly, if I am choosing a stain for a client, the people at Nucasa will let me sample two or three colors to ensure that I get the best one for the job.
I have steadily used Nucasa for their products over the past five years and the best way to describe them is that they have a desire to satisfy their customes and go out of their way to keep shoppers are satisfied. I have also found their pricing to be fair and competitive.

I used Nucasa to supply me with some Crown Molding for a job. The product was good. The price was reasonable, but I felt it could have been lower. The company is a good supplier of basic stock and I use them regularly for my work.
