The work completed was fine, however it was undertaken and completed without giving us an estimate first.

I contacted the company about my concerns and Roy got back to me upon learning of my issue. He was helpful in addressing my concern and resolved the problem fairly.

NOTE to all HOMESTARS users, don't let a contractor of any sort do work BEFORE they tell you how much it will cost.

The work completed was fine, however it was undertaken and completed without giving us an estimate first. They will claim that their service is why you pay an exorbitant amount of money, however the snaking of a sewer drain is not something where a plumber really sets itself apart. I contacted the company to address my concerns and was told by one owner that when his partner returned from holidays they would get back to me, it never happened!

I would not recommend Harmcor to anyone. I paid $100 for an hour (actually about 45 minutes) of diagnostic work that didn't even involve a single tool. It involved filling my basement with water and ME cleaning it up. I would expect any diagnostic to involve a camera in this day and age.

Unfortunately I signed the paperwork before Robert left, because I needed to get out to a volunteer shift and didn't want to fight about it at the time. The owners have been disappointingly inflexible and unresponsive.

NOTE to HOMESTARS users, don't let a contractor of any sort do work BEFORE they tell you how much it will cost.
