I cannot stress enough that the buyer should BEWARE before dealing with this horrible company.
My partner and I took a sample of "Euro Click" vinyl home, and returned the sample 4 days later. We had tried to research this particular brand of flooring and found limited reviews. When we inquired with both Ogi and Daniela about this brand, they told us that it was their own brand and they imported it. We purchased 850 square feet of this flooring, and Ogi gave us a "deal" at $5400. I asked him how long it would take for delivery, and he informed me that the flooring was in their warehouse in Burlington and he could deliver it himself that day. This was October 28.
We did not hear from Ogi again until yesterday, November 2. He told my partner that he had forgotten to deliver the flooring, but would be by that morning. Instead of Euro Click, what was delivered was a brand called Baronwood. The colour was the same, but the brand was different. We did some research and were able to locate the exact same flooring at Stala Building Solutions. We were quoted $2730 for the flooring plus delivery, almost $3000 less than at Kosco Flooring.
We immediately called Ogi and inquired about this, offering him the opportunity to price match or at least explain himself. He continued to assert that Euro Click is their brand, and that he had done nothing wrong by invoicing us for Euro Click and delivering Baronwood. We explained to him that, had we been made aware of what brand of flooring we were purchasing, we would have done our research and ordered from a company that wasn't going to try and price gouge us. Ogi said that he has to make money, and that "if I could make a 90% profit on these floors I would".
Out of principle, we decided to return the floors. He told us that he would not accept the floors without a 30% restocking fee, despite the fact that what our invoice says and what was delivered are two different things. We consulted with a lawyer, who advised that what this company is doing is unethical. It's as if they tried to sell us a car that was an Italian import, and then delivered a Toyota and tried to tell us that we still had to pay for the import.
Regardless, we still said that we wanted to return the floor and we would pay the restocking fee, but that we would still file a complaint to try to get that money back. When we spoke with Ogi this morning to make arrangements to return the floor, he informed that he would no longer accept the return as this had been a "special order". There was nothing special about this order, as he had informed me on October 28 that the flooring was available same day from their warehouse.
Please, please, do your research before agreeing to work with this company. I have no idea how their ratings are so high, unless it's because no one else has realized that what they are advertising and what they are delivering are two different things. They are putting their own name on a brand that does not belong to them, and charging people more than double what the floors are worth.
Ogi is a condescending, dishonest, and unethical person. Make sure that you take photo / video / audio evidence of everything so that you have the ability to represent yourself in Court, which we are now going to have to do in order to recoup our $5400.
