Got fooled by Natural Landscape's past reviews as the introductory meeting and drawings started off great however things soured throughout the project.
Our start date was slated for July however I'll understand that it did not begin until August. Prior to completion, Doug and I reviewed a small list of shortcomings which included:
- Gluing capstones on the retaining wall
- Putting in polymeric material in the patio
- Filling in bald patches of river rock
- Edging to be installed
The following morning, Doug's crew show up and I had paid the company in full in good faith that they would finish the tasks only for them to leave shortly thereafter. Since August, I have been amicable with Doug with my inquiries of when he would return to complete the agreed upon shortcomings.
Now that it is the middle of October, it is clear that his empty promises, lack of quality control and integrity as a person has left me little recourse. It is quite unfortunate as he seemed like a decent individual however to take full payment and be so untruthful about completing these tasks is telling of how the business operates.
I am not sure how he was able to get such glowing reviews in 2014 if my patience and kindness gets me an incomplete project for $27,000. I've offered the following pictures as evidence.
