After having some water damage from a faulty dishwasher, the insurance company for my condo recommended using Action Flooring.
At first, I was very impressed, they showed up quickly took measurements and provided the insurance company with a quote in a timely manner - however, that's about it as far as service goes.
Seeing as they weren't able to match the existing flooring in my condo, I was informed I would need to pick all new hardwood. After picking taking a few samples home and deciding on one I then went in the next day (friday) and dropped the samples off and signed off on the order and I was informed that my order would be put in on the monday. After emailing on the friday, leaving a voicemail on monday and 2 on the tuesday to confirm the order was placed, I asked the receptionist if she could confirm the order was placed (it wasn't). Finally the sales person called me on wednesday morning to say it was in fact ordered and would be in the following week (it only took1 email and 3 voicemails for her to get back to me)
I decided to stop in 2 days later (friday) to make sure everything was on schedule for the order and was asked by the sales person if the install department had contacted me because the floor was back ordered 3 weeks (no one bothered to call me). I didn't want to wait the 3 weeks so I decided to pick a new floor out. I decided to sit there and made sure she called the distributor to ensure it was in stock, and then made sure she placed the order, I then had to make sure we went over to the install department and had them book a tile install for the following Wednesday and hardwood to go in on Thursday.
After showing up over an hour late for the install, the tile installer informed me that he couldn't put the tile down because he needed to put some plywood down and would be back the next day - of course i received a call the next day and was informed that he would now be in on Saturday since they didn't want tile installer interfering with hardwood installers. As I write this, I am still sitting here waiting for the hardwood installers who are currently 3 hours later (and counting) past the install time i was originally told. On top of this, I had also received an email from one of the sales people saying "we need to replace the wood can you come into the store?" I can only assume she is talking about the floor which was on back order. but of course it is impossible to get a hold of anyone there and they do not return voice mails.
I DEFINITELY would not recommend this company to anyone. Horrible to deal with, very unprofessional.
