Skylights Unlimited just installed a 4x4 Velux Skylight above our formerly dark staircase. Our upstairs hallway is now full of light! Ed did a great job, first locating the ideal spot for the skylight and then constructing the surrounding walls to ensure maximum light exposure. Our house is a bit older (1970s) but this did not cause any problems getting the skylight in a great location. Chris did a great job covering the drywall and painting the ceiling. Skylights Unlimited did the job fairly quickly, without sacrificing workmanship and to quoted cost. They left a clean worksite every day, worked the whole day and did not cause any disruptions - my 10 month old son was able to nap peacefully. I would highly recommend anyone with a dark house get a skylight and use Skylights Unlimited.

The work was done quite well. I notice the difference in changing my old skylight for a triple-glass skylight. The draft was gone and sealed. There was the smell of construction material after the first couple of rainfalls, but that went away.

The only issue I had was the timing. There were too many delays and missed opportunities. I had to chase the company down for updates on when the work would be completed. Originally told the job would be done in 2-3 weeks, but it ended up taking 8 weeks.

Obviously, for the good work they do, they need to hire more people; but they should set expectations that can be met.

I had a great experience with unlimited skylight. They were helpful, professional and most importantly great at their work. We had a leaky skylight for weeks and they came in and did the assessment and fixed the issue in a bit more than a week. Brady did our assessment and even helped look at another issue we had on our roof and Chime did the great work on the installation. Would definitely use these guys again.

Skylights Unlimited (Denis and the crew led by Ed and Chris) did a great job installing a new skylight centered above our stairwell. The job was professionally completed over 5 consecutive business days; and the crew was both timely and very neat. Would definitely recommend.

Replacement of an existing skylight turned into a larger job than anticipated because damage was worse than we thought. A most professional approach to resolution & completion was appreciated & the job while larger than anticipated was completed as planned & costed to our complete satisfaction.

I had the skylight leaking issue with a disappeared contractor. I turned to the Skylights Unlimited. The skylight fix and interior repair are finished in one day. Great job and very clean. I am very satisfied with it, thanks.

Job was to start in November and be completed within two weeks, 'three weeks for worst case scenario'. It took four months all winter. Problems included poor communications, unexplained delays which pushed back the start of other kitchen renovations, materials not ready, incorrect window measurements 3x, improper support connections of the solarium to the house which required reopening contact points of wall and sills in the interior of the kitchen after the brand new kitchen was installed and complete.
Expensive and exhausting.

Thank you Skylights Unlimited for your excellent replacement of our old domed skylight. The new unit is beautiful and the installation was quick and clean. No mess or surprises and the servicemen were courteous and efficient. 10 out of 10.
