replace specific glass type for a coffee table

My dog broke the glass on a designer table. Mt. Pleasant glass pointed out that it was an expensive glass to replace and sourced out a similar glass at a better price. I was impressed. I have taken several glass repairs that i have needed and they never let me down even during CoVid.

Mirror walls and shower wall

Avoid this company at all costs. I have been in the business of residential renovation for years--they are the worst of their trade I have ever encountered. Let me be specific: they were months late doing this work and I had to chase them repeatedly to get them to show up. After these long delays they finally walked out without completing the work and I had to have someone else come in to finish up. Here is the way the "walkout" happened--they were installing a mirror backsplash in my kitchen. The holes they cut in the mirror for the electrical were off-center to the outlets and too big--so the faceplates did not cover them. They proposed using oversized mirror faceplates to cover, even though I had clearly specified on the drawing exactly which faceplates were to be used (and which matched the rest of the kitchen). I rejected the work and rather than fixing it they walked out. Prior to that I had the following problems: because they measured wrong for some mirrors to be installed at the top of a wall they had to shave the ceiling to get them in--now i have a damaged ceiling I have to get repaired. The trim around a glass wall at my shower was specified to be polished chrome--they trim they supplied was brushed chrome. They refused to replace it--claiming, as we all looked at how it did not match the polished chrome fixtures right next to it--that it WAS polished. They neglected to caulk the base of the shower wall--the first time I used the shower it flooded the bathroom. This they did fix when I pointed out--bit it meant the caulk was applied to the surface rather than embedded between the trim and glass. Tom claimed absurdly that this is how he always does it--total BS. Seriously awful company--avoid. .

Excellent fast work

We ordered new kitchen cabinets. Two of the doors were ordered with spaces for glass as it was less expensive getting the glass installed ourselves than from the cabinet manufacturer. Mount Pleasant Glass provided excellent professional service & did the work in less than 24 hours. We would recommend using them for any glass installation.

Worst Customer Service

Was recommended by a well known tradesman and friend from the area, they turned out to be horrible and he was so embarrassed to have recommended them. Worst customer service, one woman is completely foul towards any inquiry. Our mirror was quoted a lead time of 2 days and it took OVER 2 months to get it after 3 different excuses, one being they were too busy for us - finally installed and didn't fit right to complete our installation for the design. They came out said it was wrong and needed to be re-done, and when I called to check the status of the re-make, my site super, the project and myself were called stupid and dismissed. Went to a better company and got it done in the 2 days that was promised. Was a really big headache for such a tiny project. I deal with trades all day, every day and have never seen such unprofessional behaviour. Please BEWARE!

replacement sealed units

Several of my home's thermal windows had broken seals. Mt Pleasant glass did a perfect job duplicating them including the integral mullions at a very reasonable cost. The staff are so friendly and helpful there...it's run like a business should be!

Picture glass replacement

I broke the glass on a large picture - 30 inches by 37.5 inches. I dropped in to Mt Pleasant Glass on Industrial Street with a sample (for thickness) and the measurements. They promised availability e the following day. When I went to pick up the glass - the lady in the store told me that I would probably break the glass before I got it home. She offered to frame the picture if I brought in the frame. I immediately returned the fame and picture to the store. Where can you ever get service like that!!
