Replace 2 Wood Burning Fireplaces with Natural Gas Fireplaces
Our home was built in 1961 and had 2 wood-burning fireplaces. We'd
had a wood-burning fireplace in our old home and loved the crackle and flames but didn't like the hassle of hauling wood, cleaning ashes, and keeping a window cracked in -20C Edmonton winters so that we didn't risk dying of carbon monoxide poisoning if the furnace was running. We got a puppy just after moving into our current home and decided that it would be safer and much easier to convert the 2 fireplaces - main floor and basement - to natural gas. We looked around and this company had the best products and most realistic-looking fake logs. They kept to their estimate and the installer was excellent. We use the upstairs fireplace every day in the winter and our little dog loves to lay in his bed soaking up the heat!!
