Don't get them to install Central Air conditioning for you

This company installed central air conditioning into my double wide trailer in 2019. This summer (2021) had a heatwave come through the Shuswap area and our AC was working non-stop ... around 20 hours a day without shutting off! Something was wrong. I went underneath my trailer to see what was going on. To get at our furnace from the underside of the trailer and install the necessary lines to it, this company's employee(s) decided it would be a good idea to punch a hole the size of a dinner plate in the bottom of the ductwork directly below the furnace and have the lines come directly through the top of the ductwork, leaving a second hole the size of a baseball in the top of the ductwork. As a result, both cold AC air and hot furnace air (in the winter) was blowing directly into the bellybag (the membrane that holds the insulation in place under a mobile home) instead of into our home! We phoned this company at least four times only to be hung up on by the owner and put to an answering machine the other times! I finally hired another plumbing and heating company to look at what could be done and they are going to have to make custom ductwork to seal up the two holes in the ductwork. This will cost us $500. You do NOT want these hacks working on your furnace or AC!

Approximate cost of services:
$5,300.00
