We hired North Shore to change and screen our eavestroughs last summer. The worst contractor experience I have ever had. Didn't come on time, took over a week to complete, left a mess (garbage around work site, caulking tubes on roof), destroyed my front door mat, put a hole in my deck surface. Also found sections where screening was not installed - despite the fact that we paid for a complete install. And water, water everywhere when it rains. Contacted them about fixing issues and had one visit from original installer (who obviously didn't know what he was doing) and then have been ignored for a year now!!!! This despite the fact, I e-mailed and phoned saying there was water pouring all over my 2nd floor deck and flooding into my family room. Never any contact with owner, always screened by receptionist.
Apparently the owner knows to send his best workers to "companies". Homeowners beware ... You won't necessarily be getting the same installers as in the commercial reviews.
Am now having to hire someone else to remove and re-install the eavestroughs - the workmanship is so poor there is nothing to work with. The angles are wrong, the fittings are improperly installed, etc. etc. We do love our Allurex screening, however, and will be getting that again.
It is good to see that that websites such as this one are now more readily available to save other people from disreputable businesses.
