I chose high efficiency because I was sold on the fact they were Factory authorized dealers. The sales rep. promised a many things, and in the end not all of it was true.
First the installers were all supposed to be highly trained and certified. But when the installers finally came after being 3 hours late, 1 tech didn't know much English, and the other admittedly did not know much and was still learning.
I had also asked the sales person about a quieter AC. He recommended me not go up in model, but instead recommend a $100.00 sound blanket that he would throw in for free that would reduce sound and not effect efficiency. But the installers came and told me that it was NOT a good idea to have the sound blanket, and did not install it after.
The company called me after to address this, but hasn't done anything to rectify the situation. Its been over a week now and I had to call back, just to hear they will call me back when they figure out scheduling.
I was also told if I purchased my own thermostat, the installer would put this in for me. This was also not the case and I ended up doing it myself.
They also installed a humidifier, which was fine. They used a saddle valve that was connected directly to my hot water tank. I wasn't a fan of this method,. I would have preferred some type T shut off valve installed, but I didn't ask before hand. So I guess that's my fault.
Finally, the installers also left their garbage in my backyard leaving me to clean it up.
High efficiency overall offered a decent install at a reasonable price. But seeing all the stellar reviews below and buying from a Factory authorized dealer, I would have expected better quality service.
