Our home was insulated but didn't meet recent standards. A company from out of town came by and gave us a quote. We ask Reitzel to quote. Based on reputation, being local and a much more competitive quote we choose to have Reitzel Insulation do the job.

It was quickly done and very cleanly. The difference it makes is incredible. The house is much warmer and there isnt a big difference of temperature between the top and the ground floors anymore.
My only thought is that I should have done it 25 years ago.

Reitzel Insulation installed additional insulation in our attic to R60. In 1981 when the house was built the standard was R20.
The fellow who did inspected our attic was respectful and answered my questions. The team who installed our insulation ensure our hardwood floor was covered. Everything was completed in a couple of hours. Although, Reizel was the only estimate I got because the other company I called several times and the fellow was rude and never called me back, I am satisfied with the work, the courteous service, and the price.

We had an energy audit performed on our house and it recommended increasing the attic insulation (from ~R24 to R60). We chose Reitzel based on the excellent reviews. They inspected the attic, made several recommendations to ensure best performance (eg sealing around skylight, replacing non insulated exhaust fan ducting, etc), and provided a detailed quote. The work was done professionly and efficiently. The crew was friendly, explained how they would do the work, and did a great job containing the dust and cleaning up. Several roofing contractors recommended that the full attic have the insulation upgraded to current standards. I reached out to Reitzel Insulation who assigned an estimator to understand the project objectives; and assess the current state.

He made several recommendations to address current deficiencies in the attic design and insulation. He subsequently provided a cost effective solution addressing the deficiencies, along with the project objectives.

The attic deficiencies and insulation were upgraded in one day. We find our home to be much more comfortable and quiet. We highly recommend Reitzel Insulation as an insulation contractor.
