Clean out 2nd flr eaves troughing, add leaf filtering screens, secure downspouts to walls and add elbows & extensions to drain away from foundation

My 2nd floor eaves troughs lacked leaf filtering covers and frequently filled up with roof shingle granules, roofing nails, and leaves. The debris often accumulated near where the troughs empty into the downspouts, and also blocked the downspout, causing water to overflow and pour onto the ground near the foundation.
I emailed several eaves companies attaching photos and a written explanation of what I was looking for, and Capital was relatively faster in replying than the others. Their front office emailed back an itemized $ estimate and arranged for Capital technicians visit me and provide a written estimate for one additional work task that I could not easily explain by email. The technicians visited to assess the issue first hand. Their itemized, written cost estimate was quite competitive.
They performed the work roughly 4 weeks after I had accepted the itemized estimate. Capital didn’t ask me to provide a downpayment and they did the work on schedule and on budget. The installers were pleasant people to deal with. They showed me the 50 lb of grit they had scooped out of the gutters and collected in a garbage bag; they also flushed out the rest with garden hose. They said the roof and flashing were in fine condition and trough joints were already well caulked.
I subsequently examined their work (using a cell phone attached to the end of a telescoping pole, to videotape the screens) and found that the quality of their work was good overall and that they had overlapped screens to avoid gaps.
They were not able to replace a stretch of damaged trough on the 1st floor, nor install a new downspout in one spot, because they were not able to purchase the materials (there is a mkt shortage of aluminum); so this was not in their control. I had another local company do that part of the work.
I am quite satisfied with the cost, timeliness, and quality of Capital’s work and would use them again.

Approximate cost of services:
$1,300.00
