Space Age Closets And Custom Cabinetry

My overall experience with Space Age Shelving was an absolute 10 out 10. I wanted a professional looking custom-built linen closet and thats exactly what I got. I wasn't sure who to choose.. I called companies advertising in flyers sent to my house, I looked on Kijiji for a professional cabinet maker. No success. One guy came to my house and gave me a quote to later find out he was a scam artist, had a fake company address and requested a deposit in cash. I wasn't sure who to choose. I looked on HomeStars and read the reviews and wasn't sure if Space Age was good. From the first meeting at my house we felt Space Age was professional, took the time to really understand what we wanted and gave us options. We felt comfortable with the quality of work they proposed to do, colour choices, options (slow close hinges, handles, etc) and we took a leap of faith and booked the job. We are extremely happy with the end product and the customer service though the whole process was amazing! They called us to remind us of the appointment, they called us to ask if we were happy with the work, they called us while the installer was at house to ask if we were happy with the service. These guys always had a smile on their face (you could tell over the phone) and you felt like they really appreciated your business. They installed the cabinet and there was one thing which we hoped to change after the install was complete. After we paid in FULL. They sent the installer back to our house (in Milton!!), to fix the one thing we missed was extended out further and didn't charge us a penny. The installer was very knowledgeable and he took his time to perfect the work, didn't rush thew job and made sure he cleaned up absolutely everything after the job. These guys are VERY PROFESSIONAL, HIGH QUALITY and I'd recommend them to everyone. This is the absolute truth. I do not work for them, nor am I related or connected in anyway. I just simply want a high quality product at a reasonable price and expect it to look 100%. I'm very happy and will hire them again to do more projects in my house. You will be happy with their service and work. I've had a lot of trades in my house from all walks - this company is the absolute BEST in Customer Service. Period.

Space Age Closets was great to work with. They designed a closet which met my needs, built it and installed it. Everyone I spoke to was super helpful and the design team and installer did a great job. I am very happy with me new well organized closet!!

We did 1 walk in closet and 2 reach in linen closets. Also a cabinet in the laundry room and a platform to raise the laundry machines.
All the people we dealt with were very professional. Everything was done on time and our home was left in great shape with nothing to clean up afterwards. I would not hesitate to recommend them or use them again. A fabulous job.

We thought the experience was great. Harry was extremely knowledgeable (and accurate!) on the measurements and style. The installers were terrific. They were courteous, polite and worked hard the whole time to get the job done. I would have no hesitation recommending Space Age Closets.

My husband and I moved in to our new 900 sq ft condo. Making use of every storage space was a paramount concern. After doing a little legwork, I discovered not only was Space Age the most affordable, they also use better materials, and most important to me, provided an exceptional level of service. Harry, was exceedingly prompt in returning my calls and coming on site to measure our closets. On the day of the install, both Murray and Maks were so polite and accomodating and did an excellent job of cleaning up our space, to the point of dusting the floors on his hands and knees. Needless to say I was impressed with the overall quality of the finished products and customer care. You will be very happy with their work.

These guys are true professionals! They came and measured for every closet and made recommendations about what would work best for each living space based on their experience. The house is now complete. They were on time, thorough and clean.

I dealt with Harry and Robert in the design, pricing and installation timeline. They were timely and efficient. The design was appropriate for the space and quality of the house. They came when they said they would and cleaned up after themselves. They were price competitive and provided a quality product. It's not much more complicated than that. Thanks gents.

Space Age are pros. They came in early on in our project and gave us realistic estimates of both cost and time for construction. Talked me out of some bad ideas too :)

The other installers on our project created delay after delay, to the point where we were months past our initial date for Space Age to do a final measure and start building for the room. We ordered two built ins on opposite walls of our living room, full-wall bookcase and also a full-wall entertainment unit and storage system. Even choosing hardware was an easy process. The only problems I had where when I didn't understand the drawings and had to move some electrical outlets, but that happened at the final measure.

Unlike everyone else we worked with Space Age actually delivered on time, ahead of schedule even, and managed to squeeze our project into the last week before Christmas. We were finally able to move back into that room at our own pace during the holidays and we couldn't be happier with the build quality, the finishing touches, and the functional impact of the drawers, cabinets and shelves.

Sure, they are not the cheapest solution out there, but by god they get the job done and they do it well.

Space Age Closets built floor to ceiling bookshelves for me....the process was seamless from beginning to end. I am so pleased with the design, the product and the installation. I have asked them to do another project for me and I know I will be just as satisfied. I highly recommend this company.

Very pleased with the result. Maximized the storage and hanging capacity of our closet. Robert was very pleasant to deal with. Harry was very helpful with his suggestions and recommendations for the design. The installer did a great job putting it all together and left the place clean and tidy. The work took about three hours. I also appreciated the fact that they were all punctual and professional and followed up afterwards to make sure everything was satisfactory.
