STAY AWAY!!! TERRIBLE JOB!!!

Worst person to deal with. Firstly, he told me I would have to replace my whole bay window frame otherwise it wouldn’t look good because I was going from 5 Windows to 4. I agreed to pay the extra so we wouldn’t have any issues. When the installer was done he put tons of caulking. 6+ tubes of caulking. Looks terrible. The installer told me he had to put so much because there were big gaps. I told Oshin that’s why I paid extra to change the frame so it wasn’t gonna look bad and it did any way. There were three spots were the caulking was damaged and he accused me of touching the caulking. Said he would come back and fix it in two weeks when the caulking dried I paid him in full and said okay but I didn’t want to call and chase him. He said don’t worry, he’ would call me. Waited three weeks and nothing. I texted him 3 weeks later to find out when he was coming. He said to stop bugging him. He then said he promised before Xmas Nothing. Texted him Monday. No response. Called him Wednesday two days before Xmas and said I was bugging him again. Then said it’s too cold to caulk and he would come in Spring.. Did he not know what that it’s winter and it would be cold? Come on. Excuses. Every time I try to call him he hangs up on me. Then he told me he would only fix my window if I removed the review. Seriously. Gonna take him to court now. Do yourself a favour and go with anyone else!

Today after two months I just noticed some screws the installer put to hold up the trim without fixing them after or even telling me about it. Picture below. Now I have to pay to get those repaired. Incredible! Never stops. Good luck if you’re still going with them.

Company Response

Customer was made aware to change a bay window from 5 to 4 panel required change in shape of the opening. Hence we were required to move from retrofit to stud to stud. There was sufficient caulking used to fill the brick gaps. I had explained to the customer the caulking takes a few days to flatten out if the caulking is removed before it is completely cured it will cause a big mess. The job was completed in the end of November 2020, I suggested we will wait for warmer weather to address the touch up required on the caulking. There was no risk of leakage and was cosmetic only. Customer called two days prior to Christmas more than 10 times followed with 12 texts on when the follow up was going to happen. I explained due to Covid we cannot force anyone to work and would be closed for December. I assured him that we will return to his house and fix the caulking.
The company is still closed due to the seasonality of the business and Covid restrictions.
The customer has threatened to continuously write bad reviews and is insisting on full refund, going to small claims court, and various other threats.
