Arctic Spa Ocean

Do not buy from Arctic Spa. I wish I had seen the negative reviews before we dropped almost 30,000 for the Ocean series. It hasn't even been a month and it has been a terrible experience. I wish I could return it. It arrived damaged, poor workmanship. We paid extra for spa boy but the tub will not stay connected to the network (either through cloud or wifi). Today I had my family from out of town want to get in and I see that it isn't holding its temperature. It is set at 101 but continues to drop. I hope that future hot tub purchasers read this review before getting the wool pulled over their eyes by the salesman. I see that this is just the beginning of our problems at it seems Arctic Spa has poor customer service and product.

What I don't understand is that they have so many unhappy customers yet they don't seem to care?

Arctic Spa Swim Spa

We bought the Hudson Swim Spa from Arctic Spa in the West End Edmonton a few months ago and love it! Besides relaxation and fun, it has given us amazing family time where we are enjoying the water, the lights, jets, waterfall and most of all just talking to each other while in it. Thank you Aaron and the Arctic spa group for helping to make everything stress free and helping to make our dream a reality! If you are thinking about looking into any kind of spa, check with Aaron as he knows his stuff and is incredibly helpful and great to deal with!

Arctic Spas Hottub

I bought this new "ARCTIC SPA" Hottub in Aug 2012 from Paradise Bay in Calgary for $12000.00.In just over 3 years of ownership i have had 4 major warranty repairs/parts failures. The first was pump # 2 overheating and going into limp mode,Paradise sent a tec out to look at it and just reset the pump with the switch and said to do that if it did it again.Over and over again it did it until the reset would not work----pump was replace under warranty.Second problem was a pressure switch---replace by Paradise under warranty. The third repair was the mother board burnt up,replaced under warranty. Now we are at having problems again with the mother board ,smells burnt again and the hottub has tripped the breaker---tec say it a $700 repair once the warranty is done.Absolute garbage and poor reliability.Paradise Bay advertises a lot about how "ULTRA" Reliable these tubs are,i would hate to see what "UNRELIABLE" means to them.Don't buy the hype from these guys as the service tec says we have really good tubs out there with no problems---you got a bad one and we will fix it for free until the warranty is up.After that i can see this just being a pile of crap that requires constant repairs---DO NOT BUY ONE OF THESES TUBS FROM ANY DEALER.

Arctic Spa's Coyote Brand Hot Tub - Structural Defect

Got the Coyote Santa Fe just under a year ago. Within a few months, the perimeter lights started to crack. Replaced all of them after losing 4 inches of water over the year and replaced 2 cup holder lights. Saw deep cracks in the wooden frame. Arctic said it was a problem with the wood they used at the factory, and that they'd replace the tub at a cost of $2000 for upgraded parts, but the Service Dept just confirmed that very little has been upgraded. I truly regret buying this brand. We're stuck with a structurally defective tub unless we pay $2000. Since when was it ok to treat customers like hostages?

Spa

DO NOT buy an Arctic Spa tub no matter which dealer is selling it. This company does not stand behind its product. Their customer service reps are rude and obnoxious. We have had nothing but problems with a tub that was purchased in 2010. Now that we are forced to buy replacement parts we are finding even these don't work properly! Instead of taking care of the problem they have pushed it back on the certified Arctic Spa repairman. But they can't seem to tell us what the repairman did wrong while insisting that their product is actually working correctly even though we and the repairman are both very clear that there is a problem.
I won't bore you with the many details of our sad association with this company. Suffice it to say that YOU SHOULD NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES BUY ANYTHING FROM ARCTIC SPA. THEY ARE TERRIBLE.

Hot Tub Purchase

This is the second Arctic Spa that we have purchased and we would definitely recommend an Arctic Spa to anyone who is in the market to purchase one. We dealt with Shawn and he was a very knowledgable and professional person that was able to answer all our questions and make a spa recommendation as to our needs. Thank you Arctic Spa for a quality product and great customer service.

Hot Tub

I do not recommend anyone buying an Arctic Spa Hot Tub.. I have one that I bought a few years back and the acrylic is all cracking and the company says they cannot help me, Buyer beware...They will leave you in the cold so to speak ..so if you plan to buy a hot tub make sure it is not an Arctic Spa.......The salesman in my case, mislead me, as far as what is actually covered under warranty. The surface that one sits on is only 5 years...but they lead you to believe that it is a lifetime warranty. What a bunch of misleading people. The company at this point, Scott Viglietti, their rep.(manager)does not even get back to the customer when a memo is sent to him. Well I think Scott should be fired. He is not doing his job as far as the customer is concerned. Maybe Arctic Spa keeps him on because he operates in this manner. Buyers beware...!!!!

hottub purchase

Purchased a refurbished tub almost two years ago and exerienced numerous issues with it. Finally got the oppurtunity to speak with manager Darcy and he corrected the problem immediately ensuring the customer was satisfied and provided me an excellent tub in return. During the difficult period of my tub not working properly, the repairs lads were very professional and did what they could to rectify. After many years serving in the Canadian Forces it is nice to see a Company like Arctic Spa come thru with excellent Customer Service. Thanks again Darcy,

Bought a massage chair

Unreal sales experience. Answered our questions, treated us well. We're planning to deal with him again, maybe buy a shower! Chair rocks! It was comfortable. It was the Cadillac Edition, the best they had. We'll be using it a lot, wish it was home already!
