We hired Patterned Concrete in the fall to replace our large curving driveway, front walk and porch, with the addition of a small patio area, with construction to begin in the spring. We were delighted that once the weather improved and construction got underway, the work proceeded very quickly, in accordance with the detailed schedule we'd been given, with each crew showing up in a timely manner, cleaning up after themselves and being generally friendly and helpful. I had no idea how complicated and painstaking this job would be, but the company's crews paid great attention to detail throughout, quite obviously taking pride in their work. A small design change requested during the forming process was cheerfully made. The guys who came to do the power-washing and polishing after the concrete had set did a very thorough job, washing down the windows, walls and even the grass! They even, on request, power-washed my pre-existing landscape rocks which had gotten grubby and mossy over the years, so everything looks great. The only complaint I could offer when I received a follow-up call was that a few chunks of asphalt from the old driveway (which was wider than the replacement) had been left behind in the area now exposed, and those were picked up the next day. The job looks absolutely beautiful, is perfectly leveled and has received many compliments. This company isn't cheap, but worth the difference in price, considering that beautiful hardscaping will add to the value of our home for years to come. I would happily recommend Patterned Concrete to anyone looking for this type of work.

We selected Patterned Concrete to complete our front entrance stairs. We are extremely pleased with the results. Each stage the people working were very knowledgeable professionals, and the end result was stunning. I cannot speak highly enough about Patterned Concrete. Our driveway and patio were installed twelve years ago and are still beautiful. Recently we had them resealed and you would never know their age; the resealing really brings the colours to life. As always, Susy answered all of our questions and arranged for the service which was carried out professionally and competently. They pay very close attention to weather to ensure that the job is carried out on a day that is conducive to achieving the best results. Colton paid great attention to detail and did an exemplary job. There are many concrete driveways in our neighbourhood and, from what I have seen, there is no substitute for Patterned Concrete.

We spent a substantial amount of time on product research before choosing Patterned Concrete to replace our asphalt driveway. We read consumer reviews and personally visited many completed jobs.

We had previously used interlock stone for the driveways of other houses. While it initially looks great, eventually there are problems with settling, weeds, re-sanding, etc. We wanted to find a material that would be more or less maintenance free and that would continue to look good and hold up over time

By the time we made the decision to use poured concrete for the driveway and the walkway along the side of our house, we were convinced that it would be well worth the higher cost of this material. We felt that this was the product that would optimize the appearance of our property and add to its value.

We were impressed with Patterned Concrete during all the stages of the project. During the first meeting an estimate was completed and all costs were clearly itemized. We were told what to expect and were given a comprehensive list outlining all the stages of the project, contact information, etc. There was no sales pressure to make a hurried decision, and in fact we asked for a second meeting before making up our minds. There was a subsequent meeting at the Patterned Concrete offices where we received further details and chose the style and colour for our driveway.

We were given an estimated start date and the project was actually begun a bit earlier than we anticipated. Each stage unfolded exactly as expected. The only glitch was a rain delay which held things up for several days, but we had been told this could happen.

There is a different crew for each stage of the project and in every case the work was done competently and efficiently.
It's a much more detailed and labour intensive process than one might think. As the job unfolded we began to understand and appreciate the complexity and quality of the work for which we were paying a good dollar amount.

The finished product has transformed the front of our house. We are pleased with the design, the colour, and the pattern we chose. We've lost count of the number of neighbours and passers by who have commented on the transformation. People have actually stopped their cars to get out and ask us questions.

Next spring we'll finish the landscaping at the front and along the side of the house, and replace the exterior lights and the front doors. This will complete the exterior renovation of our property. The driveway project has been key to enhancing and optimizing the success of this project.

As consumers, we are exacting in the standard of work we expect. We require value for each house dollar we spend. Patterned Concrete has given both value and quality. We'd work with them again without hesitation.

They provided the best price and completed the job as scheduled and on time, with the best quality and guaranty.
