After getting several quotes for our backyard patio ultimately went with Patterned Concrete for a few reasons: 1) they were able to schedule us in much quicker than other companies due to the size of their company; 2) they had a huge selection of patterns and colours to offer and 3) they seem to be the only company to offer a matte/non slip finish. This last point was critical for us with kids as so many people warned us about the slippery nature of stamped concrete. They are priced a bit higher than other companies but we felt the items above (plus longer warranty) compensated for this.

Customer service was excellent from start to finish. So many contractors lack in communication or are slow to respond to questions/calls but Patterned Concrete was always quick to reply to our questions/concerns and made for a very smooth process.

If we had to make one suggestion, there are a few elements in our design that were not made clear to us (e.g. the height and how it would be finished around our basement window) which we would have changed had they been more clearly explained to us during construction. Somewhat our fault for not asking more questions but had we understood some of the details better it would have allowed us to change our design from a 9/10 to 10/10. Would definitely recommend them though and if you have kids or are worried about slippery stamped concrete this is definitely your best option for a great look that is practical too!

Every step along the way that if one task took X days to dry, settle, etc. then at the end of day X we'd get a text message letting us know a crew would arrive the next day for the next step. Impressed our neighbours too.

Their professional approach was evident when they'd send a small crew for things like power washing, BUT send a big crew for forming and pouring.

Safety was great too. Careful work during a pandemic AND careful work with heavy equipment while lots of curious kids were learning at home.

Patterned concrete staff are punctual and explain the work in great detail. Pricing was competitive. Daily emails during the pre construction and construction phase kept us informed. We knew what they would be doing everyday. Staff were responsive and email questions were answered quickly. The transparency was fabulous. Site was reasonably clean at end of each day and deep cleaned at end of project. I would recommend patterned Concrete if you are looking for a firm to perform this type of work.

We decided to invest in an upgrade to our property and we're glad we trusted Patterned Concrete Mississauga (PCM) to do the work. We have had no regrets with selecting Peter, Dino and their teams! The HomeStars reviews and PCM’s list of completed jobs over the past 20 years provided to us with the quote made our decision relatively simple. After visiting several of their 10 year old projects here in Milton, we were sold.

We signed a contract for close to 3,000 sq ft of patterned concrete work in May 2020 with their salesman Tom. The job included removing enough interlocking stone to fill 4 large dump trucks before laying the 4 or 5 cement trucks of concrete. Tom is truly knowledgeable and experienced in providing accurate quotes for the company. We were told our project would start in approximately 6 weeks. Come early July during the heat wave, we spoke to the owner, Peter, who said the project would run longer than expected due to the extreme heat and his teams working shorter days due to the heat. We were not interested in closing our pool and the use of our property for potentially 6+ weeks. Peter suggested that we delay the project until September and enjoy the pool for the summer. Our family was so glad that we went with his suggestion!

Come early September, we requested to have our project start September 21st after we scheduled to close the pool September 20th. Our project started on September 21st! After 5 weeks of various teams arriving to layout, excavate, form, grade, rebar, pour concrete and then the following 4 stages to finish the project, our property is beautiful!

Special thanks to the foremen Elio, Joseph, Carlos, Matthew, Rohan & PM Dino for being so accommodating to our requests. We presented PCM with a challenging project requiring creative design changes to address grading issues and everything was delivered meeting our expectations. PCM does not compromise regarding grading and water runoff. In the end, that is an essential factor in designing and building a quality product.

We did a lot of concrete work (raised flower beds, two patios including a walkway to the backyard and the driveway). This company was fairly priced, responsive and a dream to deal with. No issues at all and 7 years later - everything is still holding up great. I would highly recommend.

We love our driveway which Patterned Concrete did for us 2 years ago. They did my parents’ as well. We called them back to replace our interlocking brick patio with stamped concrete. Looks great and the company was on time both times. I strongly recommend them. They may not be the cheapest but they’re the best.

Dealing with Connie and her crew was next to amazing. The work was done beyond my expectations, quickly, professionally and with yes, courtesy.

Don't go anywhere else for your patterned concrete driveway revitalization process, better than when it was new.
