A Gordon Restoration

Gordon Restoration parged the bottom 3 to 5 foot perimeter of my property in November 2009. Although a relatively small job, they still gave it great attention. The knowledge and workmanship is evident (application of thin layers, mortar matching and post work cleanup). Also, the space between the neighbour's houses is about 3 feet, which made the work more challenging. What made this experience memorable for me was the ease with which Mike and I communicated. I was only available to meet him face-to-face only well into the job, yet throughout the process, I felt that I was appropriately informed. Exchanges and transactions were primarily done by email and phone. Based in the area, it was also easy to drop off the cheque in the end.

Also, one of the neighbours was a very interested new homeowner. Throughout the job, Mike showed courtesy, patience and understanding with him. To me this showed good character that went well beyond what the job required.

I’m thankful for the workmanship and grateful for the civility and courtesy shown to me and my neighbours.
