Good example of Poor Customer Service!
I only had to go through this company because of my machines being whirlpool and whirlpool are the ones who schedule the service call and choose the service provider. Its not my first time dealing with them - maybe 3rd time or so and every time there is something that makes my blood boil after the technician leaves. They seem to always recommend the most expensive solution to solve the problem - one time they recommended that I replace a stack able washer and dryer cost close to $1800 instead of only buying a new washer - dryer had no problems whatsoever. I later used another company and was able to replace just the washer. Another time belt was broken - technician recommended that I replace the entire washer that was only 5 years old - belt, labor cost & tax $350 new washer not less than $900 plus tax. To top it all off when he came to replace the washer belt - he refused to take the old belt that he replaced and packaging that he brought the new belt in and said that they are not responsible to dispose old parts nor packaging. I called Platinum and they confirmed that this is the case- so if you for example you were to replace the drum or anything like such be ready to make arrangements and pay for disposing of parts and packaging as its not included in the service! I have had service done to many appliances over the years never came across this one! Talking about poor customer service and cutting corners that will be it!
