Repair Appliance- GE Monogram Fridge

I had a service last week on my Monogram Fridge. The Fridge stopped working- when I called to have this fixed, A service person came out and quoted $1,596.94. The fridge was 8 years old and turned out the part that was needed was not under warranty. When the service person left - I searched the part numbers and found out they were substantially less than the quote. I was not happy . The following day the office called and said a mistake was made and actual cost to fix was approx half the orig quote. Several days later they came to replace the parts. As of today it is still not working properly. My fridge is now a freezer. I am awaiting to get this resolved.

Repair Appliance- GE Monogram Fridge

I had a service call on my GE Monogram fridge and was shocked to hear the quote to fix the fridge was $1,596.94. Fridge is 8 years old. I told the service person that price seemed ridiculous! I was left with a service bill of $150.23. The next day I researched and called parts company and manufacturer with the part numbers and parts that Home Appliance Repair Inc. told me that I needed came out to $606.00! I am shocked that they would charge installation of $990.94. The next day they called to say they made a mistake and would get back to me with revised price and to this day I have not heard from them. They have taken my $150.00 and now I have to call another company to have this fridge fixed. I would NOT recommend this company to service your appliances!
