Our bathroom pipe burst and water flooded everywhere. Aviv came very quickly to fix the pipe and also fixed another one that looked like it was ready to go as well, which would have cost us a lot more as it flooded downstairs, through the floor. I'm thankful we only had to do this once and that they were very quick and easy to work with. Thank you!!!

Aviv plumbing was the only company of 4 plumbers that I called that would return calls (the others were also highly rated on HomeStars). Drew came to our house at the precise time arranged and did an excellent job of a tricky repair. THe old brass toilet flange had cracked off of the pipe in our bathroom and needed to be soldered back in place. Reasonable price and great fast service.

I renovated my kitchen and bathroom and my contractor brought in his own trades to do the plumbing. After experiencing a number of problems I called Michael for help! Michael was prompt and very knowledgable about this shower brand and identified problem quickly and made repair perfectly. He came immediately to fix a steadily leaking shower handle that started suddenly causing me much worry. Amazing service! Wore booties and no mess! Did not charge for warranty part that was faulty.

My experience with other plumbers was that it would take several calls over several days to actually be able to talk to the plumber. I truly appreciated talking to him and explaining the project to him. A large cabana we were building in a forested lot in Aurora. The connection was unique as the hook up was to an existing septic tank. The plumbing was for a kitchen and four piece bathroom with a separate water supply from the house all of which had to follow the Health Department code and the Plumbing department of Aurora. Michael knew exactly what was required and how to execute the project with impressive detail. Michael had his crew there within a few days. They showed up when he said they would, did an excellent installation and cleaned up after themselves which I also found amazing. The project was completed at a fair price and passed the inspections no problem. I have since recommended Aviv Plumbing several times and my clients and associates have been equally impressed.

I had been searching for a long time for shower cartridges to replace those that were leaking in my shower stall. In spite of my extensive search over time, I just could not find the appropriate replacements. I was at the point of considering having to break into the bathroom wall to have installed a new valve and cartridge unit - at the high cost of plumbing and general contracting services, valve and cartridge unit replacement, wall tile matching and replacement, etc.... A consultation call and an e-mail follow-up to Mr. Michael Aviv of Aviv Plumbing resolved entirely and effectively the problem. Based on the digital pictures of the problematic shower cartridges that I sent him, he quickly located an American company that manufactures the right replacement cartridges and directed me to it - Auburn Bath International. That company sold me the exact/right cartridges that were needed to solve the problem and avoid having to replace the valve and cartridge unit. Needless to say, I am extremely pleased with Mr. Michael Aviv's expertise and effective assistance. I highly recommend his expert plumbing services.

Michael Aviv and his team replaced our sub pump and a toilet flush mechanism. It was the first time we use their service and we were impressed by the policy to provide an estimate over the phone rather than book a paid estimate visit which some companies employ. The fee was fair and reasonable. The team was efficient and resourceful with an unforeseen blocked pipe problem (no attempt to hike the fee). They left the work area clean and us satisfied. We certainly will call them first with any plumbing issue.

A straightforward fix to an exterior tap with the addition of an indoor shutoff valve was done in the fall along with the winterization/shut-off. The tap was not used within the 6 month warranty expired and the tap pipe was discovered to be broken (frozen over the winter). The owner and employee were civil, but firm on the warranty limitation and didn't call back when given the option to fix the tap again as a new project. The owner was pleasant and maybe just caught up with bigger issues - would call him again.
