Great windows

Our windows were half-installed in July 2017. Three months later, the job is now finished. The windows have already saved use hundreds of dollars in Hydro bills, so they are definitely a quality product.

I appreciate the phone calls from Welda managers to apologize for the delay. They did a great job explaining to me that the delay had not caused any issues with my windows or my home. Welda managers admitted they had slipped up, and I respect that.

I would recommend Welda windows to friends and colleagues with the caveat to hold the cheque until the job is completely finished. I realize now that this is good advice for any contracted work.

Terrible Customer Service, Great windows

Our windows were half-installed in July 2017. At the time of this writing, over THREE months later, no one - I repeat, no one - has finished the job.
I call customer service, they say "Oh this is urgent". Every day I come home, I look up to these gorgeous custom made windows that still have expanding foam hanging out, and no caulking at all. No caulking through all the rains that we have had. No caulking through all the winds and the frost.
I am not a window expert - I don't know if this is causing damage to my windows, or the frame - but I am a human being, a customer, who has called at least once a month, sometimes more often, asking for someone to finish this $9000 job that no one cares about because the money was paid and the contractor changed companies.
Now I am wondering if my windows start to fail, as the frames rot, if Welda will continue to ignore my concerns.
My guess is yes.
My advice is use a different company next time.
