Installed incorrectly had to sue.

Rick the owner installed my wood burning stove incorrectly, he installed a 5 inch chimney liner even though the manufacturer required a 6 inch but an 8 inch is preferred. After dozens of calls and messages at Warm hearth and Ricks own number he has never repaired it. I served papers for suing him as well as registered mail, he ignored both, no respect for the law of the land. The court required me to go to the government office to get exact name and info as to who owns it, it turns out he hasn't bought a business license since 2002.
Do your due diligence before buying from Warm Hearth in maple ridge, there are many other businesses that are way more reputable.

Fireplace

Very satisfied. I'm alone so making purchases such as this is very stressful for me but Lisa especially made it so much easier. She helped with every step-choice of fireplace, installation, rock work etc. No pressure, either to make up my mind. Very happy with the product and the work done.

Gas Fireplace

Just like being at home. Lisa and her staff made us feel comfortable immediately. We walked in looking to get pricing and ideas and we walked out with a Regency Bellavista Fireplace. Lisa was able to gauge what fireplace would fit by using our existing fireplace as a resource guide and it couldn’t have been any more perfect for us. So happy from the minute we walked in the door till the final billing. We were lucky enough to share in some fresh Brownie’s that a customer from 3 years ago had brought in to Lisa and the girls, I can see how these people stay in touch, there is definitely a relationship built with this business, Lisa also stopped in on her way home Friday to help us with our remote control.....amazing experience!

Don't Choose Warm Hearth - There are other options

First impression's are everything and I should have listened to my gut.
From the moment we walked in thru to final billing I had to push, call, confirm, ask again, argue - it was painful.
The woman running the show (I'll refer to her as "L") has strong opinions with a know-it-all attitude. From the moment we walked in she was mildly argumentative and even mocked me about a feature I insisted I wanted with my new fireplace. The only reason I ended up at Warm Hearth and the only reason I bothered doing business with them was because the manufacturer of the fireplace I wanted limits dealers and will not sell direct.
"L" told me I had only 2 options for a "B" Vented fireplace as there are few to no manufacturers making them anymore. "L" was matter of fact and final in offering options I had.
I then found a "B" Vented fireplace myself with the options I wanted and it turns out it is locally made in a factory in Delta. I sent the model number and information to "L" requesting a quote. Ridiculous that a Fireplace company would not have even tried to look into options. From there I had to "chase" Lisa and phone her multiple times to finally get a quote for this fireplace. I started the process early in September because I wanted to beat the cool weather crowds. When I finally got the quote from "L" after many phone calls I asked her to order it and book it for install right away - of course, now it was busy and now I had to wait quite awhile for the installer. In the meantime "L" wanted a deposit to order the fireplace - I had no choice but to giver her my credit card over the phone or risk several more weeks of waiting time for instal. When the installers arrived, they did a good job overall, however, rather than paint the venting pipe outside they decided to spray paint it black in place - needless to say, there is overspray on the wall and missed spots on the pipe - and my house smelled like a factory of chemicals from the spray paint. I asked the installers about final payment. Turns out they did not need to put the chimney liner in and some other minor things that were on the invoice "L" had sent me. "L" had said to me that if they don't install it she would take it off the last invoice. Fair enough. The installers said they don't take payment and that "L" takes care of all that. OK. A couple days later I notice my credit card has another whopping charge on it. I still had not heard from "L" and I realised she decided to charge my card without even consulting the installers or myself as to what the final bill should be. I did not want the charge on my credit card and there were some deductions and revising to do. Once again I called "L" and instead of owning responsibility she started blaming me and said I should have phoned her on Saturday as the installers left. I informed her that I didn't want the charge on my card and I wanted a corrected invoice with the new amount. After a week of several phone calls from both me and my wife "L" finally reversed the charges - but before making sure she told me how it was all MY fault and that she was really busy and that it was quite an accounting feat to reverse charges - WOW. There are other options out there, I wish I had gone somewhere else.

Wood Insert

We purchased a home that had an existing wood burning fireplace. We wanted to install an efficient wood burning insert so visited their "comfy" showroom in Maple Ridge. Lisa who works there is very friendly and helpful and is extremely knowledgeable. At first I wanted to go with an insert that utilized a catalytic converter but Lisa steered me away from those as we'd be mainly burning Alder, Birch and Vine Maple from our property and you really need high BTU species so you're not cleaning and replacing the catalytic converter constantly. I did some research on my end and sure enough, Lisa was spot on. She recommended a high efficiency Regency unit but our fireplace was too small. She organized another fellow locally to come in and take 2 courses of bricks out so the big unit would fit in and he was also top notch. The install went smoothly and the guys who did the install were professional and courteous. We've been using the wood insert to heat the top 2 stories of ours home (2200 sq/ft) and it does it perfectly. We'll be looking for a gas fireplace/stove for the basement and will be paying Warm Hearth a visit for that need soon!!

outdoor fire pit

We went to the homeshow in Maple Ridge last year and went by this company after the show. At the time, we were looking for an outdoor fireplace.
The store is very small but the service and knowledge are exceptional.
This year, we stopped in look at outdoor fire pits. The lady in the store is so friendly and personable. She really knows her stuff and has fun stories to tell about the products.
These little firepits are legal when the fire bans are on.
We ended up buying one because we like how she told us the story of having their portable fire pit and sharing it with other campers when the fire ban was on.
Great store and staff. I love shopping local.
