We called Ultra Built-In Systems to assess and replace our furnace and AC. Eric was friendly, knowledgeable and patient. He exudes trustworthiness. The crew that Eric sent was the phenomenal Kam and his team. They were very good. The installation and the interaction went without a snag. Eric had explained that the furnace vent which was a black ABS pipe had to be replaced with a PVC pipe as this was a safety requirement and part of the new code. Though I was concerned this would mean considerable damage to our ceiling and tried to retain the black pipe Eric insisted that it had to be changed. Kam and his team went to work and carried that out with minimal damage to the existing structure. The previous installers had taken a long route to the exterior. Kam worked out a direct route through the concrete. So they needed just one drilled hole which they, themselves, later covered. The only tiny bit that we queried was that on their website they advertised 10 years labour and parts warranty. We got the 10 years parts warranty but had to buy an additional 5 years to make up a 10 yr labour warranty. However, based on our experience I would recommend Ultra built-in Systems any day. Eric owns the company and is a lovely person to work with. He was very clear with providing us a best fit and cost effective solution. The crew cleaned up before they left. Kam also gave us a bunch of good tips.
