Total Renovations

Total Renovations redid our kitchen in 2001. We were very happy with the work. Mark and his crew were always professional and polite, available for explanations, and helpful in finding solutions to accommodate our requests. The crew came to work on time and left the workplace clean so we were comfortable living at home during the renovation. The job was done within a few days of the estimated completion date. Except for a few upgrades we went in for, the cost was identical to that in the original agreement.

After such a positive experience, we also had Total Renovations finish our basement and renovate our master bathroom and sunroom in 2005. This was a substantially more complicated project, including installing a brand-new 3-piece bathroom in the basement, digging up sewage pipes, moving and putting in walls, radiators, etc. as well as dealing with several unexpected surprises in our 80-year-old house. Still, the project came in very close to the original budget and was completed only a couple weeks behind the original 9-week schedule.

Mark and his crew are good to work with. Mark is easy to get ahold of and is both attentive and accommodating. He gives constant updates on the workplan. He is full of ideas, but is not pushy. He will go shopping with you and won’t rush you to make decisions. We get a lot of compliments and are happy to give a very positive recommendation.
