The Floor Shop

The Floor Shop installed my new wood floor this week. Peter and his team in the office were extremely helpful in understanding my needs and guiding me through the various options. The installation team was excellent. They were punctual, respectful and really focussed on doing a quality job. Ultimately, all the elements came together to produce a beautiful result and I couldn't be happier.

Incredible service. Prompt, quality professional service. I spoke with Ryan and Larry. Both guys are upfront, honest and easy to talk to. They walked us through the whole process from quote to completion. No hidden costs ... and the job was done quickly and beautifully.

We were very concerned how this would get done since we live in a small condo ... but they took care of everything. The only thing we needed to do was pack up our stuff out of the furniture that needed to be moved around and they did the rest.

We shopped around and found some comparable and competitive prices but The Floor Shop got our business based on the reviews alone and they once again did not disappoint.

Torlys vinyl is AMAZING! We chose the "Beach House" planks and we absolutely love it. People can not believe its vinyl when they see it.

The crew was punctual, polite and extremely proficient. They did the job on time, with precision and cleaned up better than any contractor in close to forty years of experience owning & fixing houses in Toronto.

The work was done exceptionally well, as well as very quickly. 20 x 20 room done in a couple of hours and full space left spotlessly clean. From the initial quote to the finished job, we were very pleased. This is the third time we have chosen The Floor Shop. As a local company, they are handy and do excellent work; and in this case out-priced this job by about 25%. We would definitely be happy to recommend The Floor Shop, Peter, and great staff. I had new hardwood floors installed throughout my 100 year old semi and had stairs stained to match. The staff at the Shop were amazing. Susan was super helpful, accommodating and very knowledgeable. Ryan coordinated the project and was highly organized and incredibly pleasant to work with. The installer Wojtek and his team and the gentleman who did the stain are highly skilled and talented. The whole process from selecting flooring to the install and subsequent clean up went smoothly. They did an awesome job for a very reasonable price. Thank you Floor Shop!

Larry our Consultant at the Kingsway location was very helpful and knowledge. Our work required removal of builder carpets in master bedroom and hallway. The job was a bit tricky as the subflooring around the bullnose of the stair case way lower than the flooring we had chosen. Therefore the stair case area had to be raised to accommodate the new flooring. Tamas the installer along with John did an amazing job. We are very happy with the work and highly recommend the Floor Shop and our insallers Tamas and John

Beyond expectations. The completed work was beautiful. And the entire condo was left in immaculate condition. Completed within time frame and for the price quoted. HIGHLY recommend The Floor Shop.

I meant to write this review over a year ago, but we are still in the process of renovating!
I cannot say enough good things about The floor shop. They were so patient with us as we are renovating the house ourselves. We had our basement done in vinyl and it looks amazing, it took them an afternoon to complete. We tore out everything in the basement and it took much longer than anticipated. Everytime we called to push the date of installation they were so understanding.
We had our 2nd floor done as well, and they look so amazing, I could not be happier!
They also matched the existing flooring on the main floor, as we tore out a wall or two and they did a wonderful job.
A few months after installation while renovating we dropped a power tool on the brand new floors and they came and fixed it within 2 weeks.
I am so happy with their work and customer service I cannot recommend enough!
