Joe The Appliance Guy

I really appreciate the service and care Joe puts into his work. He came and was able to quickly disassemble my dryer and diagnose the problem (burnt out heater coil). The part I appreciate the most is that he asks a lot of questions up front so he can be better prepared and have all the necessary parts with the hope of addressing the issue in one session. Overall, Joe is a good character and very professional and I thank him for his assistance once again. Keep up the great work Joe!

We had employed Joe's services in the past when we lived in a house. We were very pleased and satisfied with Joe's work ethic, punctuality, honesty, workmanship, and fair pricing. When we moved into our condo, we asked Joe to assess our appliances (washer, dryer, dishwasher, stove/oven, microwave, fridge). Joe gave us an evaluative report for each appliance and made some adjustments to some of the appliances. His fee for the evaluation and adjustments was exceptionally reasonable, given the amount of time he spent here. Joe informed us about a major repair on the oven range, and gave us an honest opinion as to whether or not we should pay for the repair or buy a new stove. Even though the repair job was a major undertaking, the quote he gave us was very reasonable. Joe returned the same week, repaired our stove, and honoured his original quote. Once again, his level of professionalism and his extensive expertise was evident.
In addition, Joe is a kind, sincere and affable appliance guy.

Joe "The Appliance Guy" was top notch in both these categories when I called him into my home for repair work on my dryer. Joe was honest, thorough, helpful and fair. Took a chance and called Joe after reading all the good reviews. Was not disappointed. Was prompt in returning my call, coming same day to assess problem with my refrigerator. After determining what could be the issue, he fully explained what it could be and why he came to that conclusion. Since he didn't have required part with him he left briefly, picked up the part and returned to finish repair in a very timely manner. We were very pleased with the whole process and would not hesitate to use Joe's services again or recommend him to family and friends.

As usual, Joe arrived on time, had the correct replacement part with him, worked efficiently, was pleasant and cleaned up after himself. My 11 year old Kenmore is saved. Please don't retire, Joe!

Outstanding service and response! I phoned The Appliance Guy on a busy Monday morning and had a response within the hour. Our dryer was not dispersing heat consistently. Joe spent time on the phone asking questions to ensure that the problem warranted a service call. He called twice to clarify the situation, as well as to let us know when he would be able to arrive at our home. He demonstrated complete professionalism: knowledgeable, courteous and just an all round friendly guy. Highly recommended!

I called Joe the Appliance Guy this morning because my refrigerator wasn't working. I was worried that the repair would have to wait until after the weekend. He called me back shortly after I left a message and asked me a few questions about the issue. I was thrilled that he was able to make it to my place later in the morning to fix the problem.

He arrived on time and was respectful. He quickly diagnosed the problem, which happened to be the motherboard of the fridge. He told me how much it would cost right away, which wasn't cheap, but he was confident that it would fix the problem based on the exact issue. He replaced the motherboard, which he had brought with him. He defrosted the fridge to make sure the problem didn't re-occur. The total time was about 1 hour. I would recommend Joe for any appliance repair due to his timeliness and quick attentiveness to the issue.

My gas oven was not heating. The "appliance guy" called me back in no time, came exactly when he said, diagnosed the problem instantly, and was completely done in less than an hour. The price was very reasonable and he cleaned up too!:)
