Several years ago I wrote a five-star reference for this company and in particular for Alan the proprietor. For some crazy reason I seem to have a lot of trouble with Windows 10 just about every time they update, (did I ever tell you how much I hate windows10) Consequently my computer has spent a lot of time with Alan. All those experiences I would rate as five-star, but in particular, I want to reference something that happened on my last visit. I travel so consequently I have had my computer in other shops so I have seen other tech support people at work. A while back, my windows was so corrupted that I had to reload the entire program. For some reason Outlook did not load properly and would seize up several times a day with some sort of conflict. I finally called Microsoft Tech support and they spent 45 minutes or more trying to correct the problem to no avail. So I just lived with it until recently when I decided to take it to Alan. I watched as Alan worked through the problem and within 3 minutes he had it resolved and Outlook has been working great ever since. As I said earlier I have seen other tech reps at work but no one is even a close 2nd when it comes to his knowledge and speed at which he operates. He is extremely intelligent and talented and he knows where every file etc. needs to go. He amazes me when I watch him work. Did you know he has a BS degree as a software engineer?
In most of the previous posts they said that his prices were very reasonable. If you consider the speed at which he works and his hourly rate, I would say to you that he is “extremely reasonable” and you get a lot of bang for your buck. I am an old fart, and have been around the bend a few times and even repaired mainframes many years ago. Windows is an immensely huge program and it amazes me how he seems to know every nook and cranny. Definitely a five-star computer shop.
