From the first conversation at the customer service line to the final product, I really felt taken care of with Taves Roofing. I had a few different estimates from other companies but Tony from Taves Roofing was the first to really go through details from the get-go and identify problems he saw right away from his first time assessing my roof. He also seemed extremely knowledgeable and confident in what needed to be done. Knowing I had no prior experience with this sort of thing, he took his time to explain things and be patient with my many questions - even if it was frustrating for him, he didn't show it!
Our situation was difficult to begin with; turned out we had been taken advantage of from our insurance company about 10 years back and everything was falling apart about 15 years too soon since they hired a preferred contractor to do a very poor job. Tony understood the scenario right away and expressed his concern and compassion, especially since he knew we had no idea this had happened and really showed he wanted to help us. My mum is a senior and he identified with us, stating safety and peace if mind would be a top priority going forward.
Tony was thorough and came by a few times to assess both the attic and exterior to be thorough and project what was needed for repair and also reviewed warranty and product options all before we even decided to go with him. Once we decided to go ahead, he had areas tarped and checked in regularly to see if things were stable until the replacement was done as we were just at that awkward season change so were waiting for better weather to get things done. During the installation, he kept me informed with any surprises or damage that was uncovered outside of his initial assessment. At the end, he reviewed all details again and made an extra effort to have the area tidied and double checked his team's work. I'd also like to add his team of workers were professional and worked diligently with a strong work ethic. They were all also very friendly to my mum, even though her English was a little weak:) Overall, an excellent experience! Thank you!
