Unclear/Misleading Extended Warranty
I bought over $12,000 of kitchen appliances from Tasco in 2011. I also bought the extended warranty for the LG fridge which had be covered until 2016... or so I thought. Our LG fridge died in 2013 and Tasco's extended warranty program replaced it as expected with a brand new unit (same model). Now, in 2015, the unit died again with exactly the same problems. What I did not know is that the extended warranty only covers the 1 replacement, so although my coverage went until 2016, I no longer had extended coverage on the brand new fridge. This was not made clear by the salesperson who sold me the extended warranty, nor was it made clear Seta, the manager of extended warranty when we processed the exchange. She claims in her notes that she offered me the additional extended warranty, but I am certain she didn't - which is now a he said she said. While I was pleased with all my interactions with Tasco thus far, this has left a sour taste in my mouth. Buyer beware on extended warranties.
