John sent his wonderful, hard-working nephew, Michael, to remedy our overflowing-laundry-tub situation. We have a very old septic tank thru which the now-connected sewer line still runs. Michael determined that the blockage was on the 'in' side of the tank, and set-to attempting to remove the cover on the ancient cast iron clean-out. Having probably never been used in its 102-yr-old history, the cover refused to budge easily, but Michael persisted. After much hard work with the rooter, the tub drain started to flow.
The next day, the problem was back. The weekend had arrived, and I resisted bothering Michael. When he promptly returned on the Monday morning, he said I should've called... "We worked all weekend." So, the snake went down the hole again. Eventually, the tub emptied quickly, but the snake got stuck on its way out. Michael called John, and the 2 of them pulled it out.
The work was guaranteed, so there was no charge for the return service. And friendly!
These guys deserve kudos.
